Every year we open our gates for visitors from all over the world to come and stay with us. To experience India in its fullest. A short drive from Haridwar, is our home in a small settlement of just around 16 houses with not more than 100 people and most of us related to one another. Even if just for a day. Here life is very simple and based on agriculture. You can wander in the fields carefree and enjoy the views of our small village tucked away from all the chaos at the foothill of Himalayas.

If you choose to stay, we offer a choice between a double bed or a traditional hammock-style bed under the verandah. Your stay will be far more comfortable than it sounds. We have both Squat and Western toilets available. It also have shower in bathroom, though we don't have hot water. This is one of the few genuine village homestay near Haridwar options where you're not a guest in a converted property built for tourists but you're a guest in our actual home.

The meals offered are vegetarian and specially cooked by one of our family member. It is prepared almost entirely from what we grow ourselves in the fields. Simple, generous, and honestly some of the best home-cooked food you'll have in India. Help us in the kitchen if you're curious, or spend the afternoon with the kids instead. The river runs clean enough to swim in near our village too, and our driver will show you exactly where. Either way, it's hard to find such an authentic village experience India offers with this level of access.

Our home is around four hours drive away from Delhi. It will be a drive along the back roads tracing the Ganges. Our driver will pick you up from Delhi hotel and bring you here. This is a real countryside experience and not the version you see from a highway. From our village, it's easy to continue on to Haridwar and Rishikesh. A Har Ki Pauri Haridwar tour is a natural add-on. We will take you to the ghats. One of the most atmospheric spots in Haridwar is Har Ki Pauri, especially timed around the evening Aarti. In Hindu culture, Mother Nature is worshipped and the evening Aarti at Hari Ki Pauri is part of that belief. Aarti is a sacred offering to the river Ganga for bringing life wherever it flows.

Before spending your evening on the ghats of Har Ki Pauri, take a ropeway ride carrying you up to one of Haridwar's hilltop temples for a view over the city and the river below. It's a small physical break from the day's pace, and honestly, one of the better vantage points in town.
The day winds down at a local market, where you can pick up handicrafts, spices, or a last cup of chai before heading back. It's an unhurried close to a day built around contrast — village stillness against the color and noise of Haridwar itself.
